If you have to shovel snow & no one can help you it's best to just push the snow never lift it or you will fell like your pain is going crazy with fibro. Take a lot of breaks and try to stay warm. Your fibro will hurt no matter what but if you have to shovel snow please don't over do or you will be suffering for many many days.

Heat & Sleep With Fibro?

Well I put the plug in heater aout 1 hour in the bedroom on to make it very warm before I sleep as it seems to help. I also use a sleeping bag laying on top of my blankets to keep the heat in as it seems to work good for me so try it to see if it helps you.

With the cost of home heating oil it's hard to stay warm and your fibro will make you ache so so bad. I have learn to use plug in heater in the room I'm in to heat it up helps some with the fibro cold pain and really saves on home heating oil. As soon as I feel very warm with all the layers of clothes and plug in heater I turn the plug in heater off as the work really great in rooms. Give it a try see if it helps you.

My doctor told me I should dress in layers it helps keep the body heat in and my body will not hurt as fast. I wear long john top and bottom along with sweat shirt and thin jacket and very heavy jacket to go outside as it seem to help some. So wear clothes in layers when you go out or around the house to help in cold weather.

It took more then six monthes of tests but the pressure point test on the body let my doctor tell me in March of 1999 I had fibromyalgia.
I did not give up I have learned to live life with fibromyalgia with the grace of God and found out I have talent in songwriting and this is why I have started this blog to show hope to others and show life can go on & never give up.
